Hampton Inn and Suites Munster

I've been staying at this Hampton Inn whenever I have visited the area for the last 20 years. The staff has always been there excellent and accommodating and the rooms are always clean. That being said, I feel like small things have been going downhill for the last few years, and it's getting to be quite noticable. The TVs in half the rooms have such awful screen degradation that colors no longer represent correctly. The pool/hot tub have been in working order maybe 50% of the time and the gym is not in great working order either. I like the place, but consider the Homewood suites immediately behind the Hampton as it's much newer and roughly the same price.

Good location, nice rooms, good customer service. We were here for a funeral. I read on Trip Advisor that another person received a bereavement discount. I asked for one and received it as well. Thank you Hampton!

We booked for one night and I was satisfied with the room. It was clean and linens were comfy. Service was immaculate. Amanda was so kind! There was also a sweet woman that was working in the breakfast area on the Saturday morning we were there. Service was truly amazing! We would definitely book again.

Shower was less to be desired. It appears they updated an old hotel and skipped on making the showers better. The water pressure was too low. They may allow work teams to stay there, I should not assume but there were quite a few workers in the hotel. Otherwise it was a nice stay, we felt safe and the beds were nice. There is a pool for the kiddos.

The room was spacious, clean and safe. Continental breakfast was 11/ 10 . The ladies refilling were very nice and helpful. It was delicious and filling. I appreciate you!

We are so grateful for the incredible kindness and service shown by Michelle Romero at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Munster, IN! My mom was staying there last week while attending her uncle’s funeral, and she needed her speech printed in large font so she could read it at the service. I was out of state, so I called the hotel early in the morning to see if they could help. Michelle answered right away and, without hesitation, took care of getting the document printed. To top it off, she even checked in on my mom later that day to see how she was doing and if there was anything else she needed. Thank you, Michelle, for your hospitality and compassion—you made a tough day easier to bear!

A very nice hotel to stay at around the Chicago area. A hospital right across the street. A very safe area to park your vehicle. Plenty of places to get groceries or grab a lunch or dinner.The Staff was excellent the room was very clean. We needed a couple more pillows and it was no problem. The breakfast was outstanding plenty to choose from and Proteins were available which means alot to me. We also enjoyed the Scones. Will definitely stay here again.

I arrived earlier than the standard check-in time, and the team made an effort to prepare my room sooner. They kept me informed about the status instead of leaving me waiting without updates. The lobby seating area was clean and organized. Overall, a smooth experience.
